How to style the Black Leonardo Coat

Below, I’ve put together several ways to style the Black Leonardo Coat – from formal to semi-formal and casual – to show you just how versatile this piece can be. If you’ve seen these outfits and browsed my Instagram but still aren’t sure how to style your coat, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to give you personal tips and help you create the perfect look.

Option 1: Smart Casual
For this look, I paired the black coat with classic black high-waisted wool trousers, sleek black Chelsea boots, a cozy wool half-zip sweater, and matching sunglasses. I love a monochromatic outfit like this – it’s effortless to style and instantly exudes a refined, luxury feel.

Option 2: Formal
For this look, the coat is styled with a classic black tuxedo, a crisp white dress shirt, a traditional bow tie, and patent leather Oxford shoes. It doesn’t get much more formal than this – and the coat integrates seamlessly, adding a refined outer layer that complements the elegance of black-tie dressing perfectly.

Option 3: A Classic With a Twist
For this look, the coat is paired with a grey pinstripe double-breasted suit, styled with a crisp white dress shirt, a black tie, and classic black Oxford shoes. To add a distinctive twist, the outfit is finished with a black flat cap, introducing a subtle heritage element that balances tradition with character.

Option 4: Casual
For this look, the coat is styled with classic straight-fit blue denim, a clean white T-shirt, and a soft grey cashmere cardigan. Black Chelsea boots and a tote bag complete the outfit, creating an effortless yet considered look. This is one of my favorite ways to wear the coat and works perfectly for relaxed days when comfort and style go hand in hand.

Option 5: Modern Casual
For this look, the coat is styled in a contemporary, modern-casual way with blue denim jeans, a black sweatshirt, black loafers, a black baseball cap, and a tote bag. This approach gives the coat a modern, fashion-forward expression and shows how it can be integrated into a more relaxed, everyday wardrobe. While this style is intentionally casual, it highlights the versatility of the coat and how it can adapt to different personal aesthetics.
